We welcome membership applications year round. Annual membership fees:

• Full, associate and affiliate members: R500.
• Student/Trainee members: R200.
• Registered students: Free

We try our best to process new applications rapidly, but please remember that the guild is entirely run by volunteers, all of whom are working editors. 

Your date of payment becomes your annual renewal date for your membership every year moving forward.

Along with your basic contact information, you will be asked to submit:

1. A current curriculum vitae.
2. Requested membership type (see explanation).
3. Requested genre and systems expertise (see explanation).
4. Three professional references. These people must be readily contactable by email, and must be able to vouch for your requests in (2), (3) and (4)
5. IMDB profile link (if applicable).
